How To Buy From Barnabas Books

I live outside the UK and would like to purchase a book?

If you live in or near Australia, New Zealand or America, please contact the Barnabas Fund office in that country, otherwise please email sales@barnabasbooks.org with your order and address. We will reply informing you of the postage and packaging costs.

If you would still like to place the order, telephone with your credit card details or send a cheque drawn on a sterling account. We do not recommend that you send your credit card details via email.

Are all books available from the International Offices?

No. Some books are only available in the UK and are not held by the International offices of Barnabas Fund.

Q. How long will it take for the books to be delivered?

A. We aim to deliver the goods, using Royal Mail, within 3 to 7 working days of receipt of your order if the goods are in stock.

Q. If books fail to arrive?

A. If books are lost in the post, Barnabas Books are to be notified within 30 days of the original order and a refund will be given.

Q. If I change my mind and want to cancel the order?

A. The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 state you have the right to cancel the order on an item within eight working days of receiving the item/s. Written notice (by letter, fax or email) of such cancellation must be given to us within the aforementioned period and if you do cancel an order you must return the item/s to us and the item/s must be in a saleable condition and you must pay the return postage in order to receive a full refund. We reserve the right to offer a partial refund on items that are returned to Barnabas Books damaged or soiled.

Q. If a book arrives damaged?

A. If a book arrives at its destination in a damaged state, the item must be returned promptly to Barnabas Books. The cost of the return postage will be refunded and a replacement will be sent to you or a full refund given.

Q. What information do you require to process an order?

A. We will need to know your name, your delivery address, the card holders address if different from the delivery address, your credit or debit card number, the expiry date of the card and the three digit security code. We will also need your E-mail address and your telephone number which will enable us to contact you if there is a problem. Card details will not be held by Barnabas Books.

Q. Will you disclose information to a third party?

A. We will not sell, exchange or rent any of your information to any organisation except to those which are officially linked to Barnabas Books and except as required by law.

Q. If I pay by Credit/Debit card will you keep the card information?

A. We do not have access to any credit or debit card information. All credit and debit card transactions are carried out through ProTX , one of the largest and most respected credit card processing companies, using the most advanced encryption technologies to ensure that your personal data is secure.

Q. I do not want to use my Credit/Debit card on the internet.

A. If you do not or are unable to purchase goods using a credit/debit card you may contact Barnabas Books and place an order either via the telephone using your Credit/Debit card or by sending a cheque.

Q. I do not have a Credit/Debit card.

A. If you unable to purchase goods using a credit/debit card, you may order books from Barnabas Books by sending your order and enclosing a cheque/postal order made payable to Barnabas Books.

Q. Discounts for bulk orders?

A. Please contact Barnabas Books for details of discounts given for bulk orders. Please note that discounts are not available via the web site.

Q. Will you contact me?

A. From time to time Barnabas Books may send emails or correspondence informing customers of new stock or special offers. If you do not wish to receive any further emails or correspondence please contact us.
